專任助理教授級專技人員/專案助理教授以上師資1名。The Department of Translation and Interpreting is seeking one Full-time Assistant Professor-Level Technical Specialist / Contract Assistant Professor.

一、工作內容
1. 教授中英文逐步口譯、同步口譯課程（含理論與實務）等相關課程。
2. 執行本校教學相關計畫、產學合作研究。
3. 執行政府相關計畫。
Job Description
1. Teach courses such as consecutive interpretation, and simultaneous interpretation (including theory and practicum).
2. Engage in teaching-related projects and industry-academia cooperative researches.

二、徵才條件
1. 具與翻譯領域相關之博士學位，或具口譯相關專業領域經驗，在中英口譯實務、中英口譯教學有豐富教學或研究經驗者，能教授中譯英同步口譯與EMI全英授課課程。　
2. 以上之口譯相關專業領域係指：
（一）曾擔任會議口譯經歷九年以上。
（二）經本系認可之國內外政府或民間機構聘為口譯人員並有證明文件。
Qualification
1. A PhD degree in translation or interpreting, or a MA degree with professional experience in Chinese-English interpretation and interpreting teaching/research. The candidate shall demonstrate abilities to teach simultaneous interpretation and EMI courses.
2. Professional interpreting experience refers to the following qualifications:
a. 9 or more years of experience in conference interpreting.
b. Proof of employment as a professional interpreter for a minimum of 9 years from a certified private business or a governmental agency in Taiwan or overseas.

5. 其他有利審查之文件，如榮譽證明、證照等。

※Qualified applicant is required to submit the following documentations:
1. A curriculum vitae in English and Chinese (Please list all interpreted meetings over the past 9 years).
2. A copy of your diploma (diploma from a foreign institution needs to be certified by a ROC overseas mission with a copy of Chinese translation).
3. A copy of the teaching certificate (if applicable).
4. A syllabus for the applicable course with a brief overview of course content and schedule.
5. Other applicable documentations such as awards and certificates.

The Department of Translation and Interpreting will conduct an interview between June 8 and June 15, 2022. Applicant will be asked to teach briefly during the interview.
