Message from the President for the 60th Anniversary Website

Founded in 1966 by the Sisters of the Order of St. Ursula, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages is about to reach a remarkable milestone—sixty years of dedication to education. As we celebrate this 60th anniversary, I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude to every faculty member, staff member, and student who has contributed to Wenzao over the past six decades. I am especially grateful for the wise leadership of our Chairpersons and Board of Trustees throughout the years, as well as the tireless efforts of successive presidents and the entire Wenzao community, whose commitment has shaped Wenzao’s glorious “Sixty Years of Brilliance.”

Looking ahead, Wenzao will continue to uphold the spirit of our motto, Revere the Divine, Love the Human, and live out the core value of Serviam—I Will Serve, rooted in the educational philosophy of the Order of St. Ursula. Guided by these principles, we remain devoted to cultivating our campus community and nurturing future talents. Our mission is to foster Wenzaorians who embody the university’s 3L Core Competencies—Life, Language, and Leadership—so that, generation after generation, our alumni will carry forward this legacy, making a lasting and positive impact, giving back to society, and contributing to the world.
